Awnings without cassette

Cassette-less awnings are practical and aesthetically pleasing solutions for shading windows, balconies and terraces. Unlike traditional awnings, they do not require a retractable box to house the fabric when not in use, but are composed of a simple structure that attaches directly to the wall.

Open Design Service’s cassette-free awnings have arms that support an aluminum rod and hold it taut. The arms also attach to the wall or ceiling and ensure that the awning is opened and closed by a crank or electric motor.

Cassette-less awnings can be made in different fabrics and colors to meet every aesthetic and functional need. In addition, some solutions can be equipped with wind or sun sensors to automatically activate according to weather conditions.
